bad luck on tuesday, some retracement today but one thing is clear a couple months is not enough time to be right or wrong let alone a couple of days. i agree there seems to be no immediate launch pad for trend/momentum folks.

big macro-wise, I agree. i have had one Brazilian stock throughout. I expect to own china again in the next six months or so, certainly withing a year. Ideally i would like to see our cycle end and buy when visibility for the next cycle starting shows itself.

your comment, I believe, is more bottom up. Second paragraph I say "from the top down." Top down is more about how much emerging to own and then trying to figure what you think is the best way to own it.

China across the board is tough for me right now for the risks I mentioned, risks that have not come home to roost yet.

In that context i do not believe I have argued Brazil as a China proxy, I believe I have argued my preferred allocation to emerging. Fair enough if you disagree.
