• Considering DBV, But Urging Moderation [View article]
I read exactly the same thing but was told on the phone shortly after listing, so before the report you cite, that it would hold dollars.

Mr. Pockstaller makes one important point, the other thing (more general than specific to DBV) is that one school of thought (one I believe in) is that successful portfolio construction means blending together holdings that will probably outperform in both directions and other holdings that will underperform in both directions.

If this concept is new to you, you should learn about it, at the least.

I don't think so but I believe the DirexionFunds may have leveraged OEFs.

the Fed reducing money supply seems like a long shot at this point, no? It has been easy access to money for the consumer that has allowed this expansion to keep going.

Further I would be surprised, as things appear</e... appear to be slowing down some that the Fed would make money more expensive, IMO.

DBV is... the carry trade. It is long the highest yielders and short the lower yielders.

I still have the Aussie and Iceland exposure meaning I am still exposed. When a currency gets going it seems like people pile on with predictions of further big moves that usually fall short. short term if you hear a number a lot like 110 or 112 I might think 114 longer term though I do think it can go below 110.

• Which Currency ETF is the Best Hedge Against the Dollar? [View article]
Volume is not much a driver for determining liquidity. The nature of the product is that specialsts can create shares if needed and there is generally a willingness to gt trades done. According to Bloomberg, via a call to Schwab, 100% of the volume today in FXF the Swissi ETF has been in between the bid and the ask. This says to me that liquidy is just fine even if it is not apparent in the number of shares traded.

Trades in the middle is something I have commented on before. Use reasonable limits nad have a little patience.
