  • Apricus Biosciences; Vitaros Has Great Potential [View article]
Thanks for the updates eicoman. I have been taking a short break from writing articles. I expect to start writing some again soon. Your update saved me from writing another article on APRI.

    Resectfully yours,

  • Rexahn Pharmaceuticals: Update On Cancer Drugs [View article]
    Hello stockstranger,

If Archexin does well in Phase II trials it could well result in a partnership. Next expect them to advance to 2b trials for Pancreatic cancer. Everyone seems to think the Pancreatic is doing well.

  • Synta Pharmaceuticals Has Long-Term Potential [View article]
    Hello Blue Scorpion,

Thanks, I was not aware of the insider buying. I think you have made a wize investment. You might take a look at Array Biopharma (ARRY) for a similar investment. Both stocks are very similar in what they do except Array has a few more partnerships. If SNTA can partner some of its cancer drugs they will be following the potential of ARRY.

  • Synta Pharmaceuticals Has Long-Term Potential [View article]
    Hello Steven,

I read everything to do with Hsp90 inhibitors in the Synta literature when I was researching this article. There have been other drugs but they have not had the same effectiveness or safety profile. I am not sure that they have been approved. Ganetespib is going stage III in the GALAXY study and there have been numerous stage II trials. I think we will see some approvals out of Ganetespib. I think Synta Pharmaceuticals should start looking for partners in the various types of cancer that Ganetespib has shown the most success.

  • With Some Cost Cutting, BioCryst Pharmaceuticals Would Look Great [View article]
Thinking about adding BioCryst to my portfolio. Its price has sold off so much that I think its a buy now. BioCryst has a few quarters to find a partner for its Gout drug before it has to raise cash. Also might get some good news on the patent for its Hep C drug.

  • Apricus Biosciences; Vitaros Has Great Potential [View article]
    Hi slobuddy,

Most biotech stocks are pure crap. In APRI you have Vitaros - a drug that has as much potential as Viagra. Vitaros can also be used on women in the drug form of Femprox. No other firm has a female sexual drug that has this much potential. The only problem with this stock is that they might keep raising cash and dilute our shares.

Best of Luck to all investors,

  • Apricus Biosciences; Vitaros Has Great Potential [View article]
    Hey Doug1313

My article was about the potential of the drug Vitaros. We shall find out soon whether the drug catches on in Canada. If it works in Canada it will probably work in Europe.

I'm sorry about your losses on Apricus - I know I lost some money too. The company tried to raise too much money and it's stock collasped.

  • Apricus Biosciences; Vitaros Has Great Potential [View article]
    Hi Doug1313,

I think the approval was delayed by the Europeans. They had questions that required time to answer. Dr Damaj seems convinced that they will receive approval before mid-2013. Soon Abbott will start Canadian sales which could go well. Apricus will also start the relaunch of sales for Totect, Granisol, and Aquoral in the US around mid-year.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm trying to keep the conversation positive and focus on Vitaros -- which could be a blockbuster in Europe. If Vitaros is approved in Europe and sells well then all mistakes will be forgiven. Vitaros sales in Canada could be good as well if they can get some Americans to buy the drug.

Good Luck to all shareholders of APRI.

  • With Some Cost Cutting, BioCryst Pharmaceuticals Would Look Great [View article]
    Hello LT,

I believe you are right on the money about BioCryst. Sometimes companies have to spend the money- particularly on Phase 3 drugs. BioCryst has 2 stage 3 drugs now with their gout drug being Phase 3 ready. To further develop these drug requires that a lot of money- hopefully partnerships will pay the development cost such as BARDA with Peramivir.

The current problem I'm worried about is BioCryst running out of money. I would invest some money if I did not have this concern.

    Thanks for your comments,
    Roy Manning

If they can successfully reduce research costs I will invest some money in the company. We shall know for sure in the upcoming income statements. They should substantially reduce costs since BCX4208 trials are now over until they find a partner.

  • Nymox's Enlarged Prostate Drug Shows Great Promise [View article]
Thanks for the comments. One comment showed the view of Doctor who was against the drug and the other answered with information about the drug. I am invested in NYMX and consider it one of the great advances in prostate treatment coming with no side effects to speak of. It's an amazing drug that nearly half of all men will need in their lifetime.

  • A Great Year For PharmAthene [View article]
I agree the money from the contracts have been covering expenses at PharmAthene. Look at the quarterly expenses at PharmAthene- they look pretty good to me. Especially if they cut cost a little more they will be breaking even each quarter. But they may need the credit line for possible legal fees.

    Thanks Alex,

I appreciate the comments and will not invest any money in PharmAthene if the lawsuit is in question since the stock will crash if this is overturned. You sound as if you do legal work for a living. I guess we all have to wait and see what happens with the ST-246 award.
