The Cambridge Strategy aims to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for its clients. Risk management is central to the firm’s culture. Our unique methods for managing volatility and “left side” tail and extreme risk are an integral component of our offerings.
Our core investment capabilities lie in the following areas:
Currency Alpha Programmes: 'We manage global, Asian, and emerging markets currency alpha portfolios and seek to achieve mid-teens returns over rolling three year periods. We expect these returns to be uncorrelated with other asset classes.
Currency Overlay: We offer a choice of currency management solutions to help reduce risk and/or enhance returns via alpha strategies and through dynamic or passive hedging.
Emerging Markets Equities: We manage a long only emerging market equity strategy that combines top down and bottom up components that seeks to outperform (over rolling three year periods) our benchmark index by 5% per annum with maximum tracking error of 8% per annum.
Emerging Markets Macro: We manage an emerging market macro strategy and seek to generate (over rolling three year periods) absolute mid-teen returns through a blended exposure to currencies, equities and debt instruments.
Asian Equity Markets Absolute Return: We manage a long/short Asian equity strategy and seek to generate (over rolling three year periods) absolute mid-teen returns.
Key Features That Differentiate The Cambridge Strategy:
