Currently I am majoring in Economics in the Arts and Sciences School at Cornell University and I have recently incorporated my own research company 'Legion Investments & Advisory Company LLC'. Academically, I have pursued my financial interest both inside and outside the classroom. At Cornell I have engaged in a demanding curriculum in finance, economics and public policy to understand the broad forces that affect financial markets. Additionally, I have managed a significantly capitalized IRA retirement portfolio over the past five years. My professional experience includes a corporate advisory internship with Standard Chartered in Beijing. My responsibilities included valuation modeling and macro-economic trend analysis with the goal of developing strategies to unlock value in client companies. Additionally, I had the opportunity to intern with FH International Asset Management As a credit analyst. Here I learned to quickly assess a firm’s financial strength and growth potential. My responsibilities included identifying exposure risk to foreign financing, commodity price fluctuations, currency risk and political stability in order to create a complete picture of a firm’s financial credibility. Through my professional experience I have developed strong financial analytic skills and proficiency using financial software.
