After a long period of just reading the articles on Seeking Alpha, I decided to share some thoughts and ideas about the market and stocks.
I am a CPA and have held a CFO position in several companies over the years.
One of my hobbies is stock analysis:
I will always read thoroughly the financial statements, notes, letters to shareholders and any other stuff that can help me decide what the company is worth.
I prefer boring stocks where you can understand the company's value fairly easily than dream-high-flying stocks where the financial statements have nothing to do with their valuation.
My portfolio usually includes just stocks and bonds, rarely options and

only for hedging.
