Heh, heh, heh -- that fast turnaround was totally by design, Mr. Ward. ;) It's all part of a master plan. You guys are doing a great job. Thanks for livening things up in a major way this week! And you and a few others are totally convincing me that I have to get me some DIS!

  • The No. 1 Stock In The World - Part 1 [View article]
Great discussion here on a stellar article. A couple thoughts:

As Seeking Alpha's Dividends, Income & Retirement editor, I was pleased to see a mix of tried-and-true stocks and some surprises on this list. I think it's a good cross-section of different styles and preferences. I love the ongoing debate on O here. Interesting perspectives, all.

And I love me some Apple and Starbucks, and avidly consume these products with regularity (more lattes than iPhones, as lattes are more budget-friendly =)), but imo the yields are a tad low to put them on a "single best investment" list for income-oriented folks. Nonetheless, I do believe they are excellent growth stocks with superior potential, so there's that, too. It really IS a difficult decision to select the best of the best. Thankfully, we have Mike and all of you to explore that for us!
