Tesla Motors Vs. Clean Energy Fuels
Electricity is the first step, not the ultimate goal for Tesla.
Transition starts with moving from gas to electricity and then electricity to solar power.
Tesla's SuperCharging Network, powered by SolaryCity installed panels will speed up this transition and as technology for solar improves we'll be relying less and less on electricity produced with coal, oil, etc.
Many experts say current coal, oil, etc. powered plants are already being replaced with more efficient solar, wind, hydro powered plants.
Natural Gas is a limited resource just like oil. It will be depleted sooner or later.
And most importantly, Tesla is the only company with solid products and business plan to achieve this.
