My view is this. A writer named albert posted an article on SA. He was subsequently attacked rather visciously by many here, most notably by Relmor (Relmar) from King of all trades.
I published an article written by Sirius Stern Fan, and submitted it to SA as well. Albert then decided to attack me in the comment section of that article. He did this on the same day we took my aunt off a respirator and watched her die. I was not in the mood for albert.
I then blasted him and his SA article on MY SITE. Albert complained to the staff at Seeking Alpha, which is now demanding that I remove the post from MY SITE or remove any comments negatively reflecting on Albert. They stated that if I did not do this, I would be removed as an SA contributor. They then rejected the article that you saw yesterday on business insider.
At that point, I terminated the arrangement with Seeking alpha. I get no compensation from SA, and am opposed to censorship in any form. For seeking alpha to demand a retraction from a site not owned by them is an outrage to me. Again, the only ones that benefit from my articles here, is seeking alpha.
Albert has sent me emails, stating that he is looking into my background and made various threats. These emails were forwarded to seeking alpha, which remains steadfast in their support of Albert.
At this time, I can state that I will not be submitting any further articles here.

(SATS) said it will buy broadband satellite-technology company Hughes Communications Inc. (HUGH) for $1.35 billion, boosting EchoStar's capabilities for transporting video and data. According to terms of the deal, EchoStar will pay Hughes shareholders $60.70 in cash for each of their shares. That's a 1.7% discount to Hughes's closing price on Friday--the stock has jumped sharply, rising by more than 50% this year, amid reports that the company was looking to sell itself. The stock closed last year at $40.45. The companies said that when including Hughes debt that's expected to be refinanced in connection with the deal, the transaction's value is about $2 billion. Hughes is majority owned by private-equity giant Apollo Management LP. EchoStar President and Chief Executive Michael Dugan said the deal "will create a powerful leader in video and data transport," noting that Hughes has "an extensive fleet of owned and leased satellites and experienced personnel in communications centers around the world." Both companies' boards of directors have approved the deal, which is expected to close sometime this year. EchoStar, which makes set-top boxes and satellites for Dish Network Corp. (DISH) and was spun off from Dish in 2008, in November reported its third-quarter profit declined sharply from a year-earlier quarter that included hefty investment gains. Also in November, Hughes said it swung to a third-quarter profit. Shares of Hughes closed at $61.78 on Friday, and EchoStar shares closed at $29.88. Both stocks were inactive premarket.

you are right...at last report, only 30 mn of the 80 mn actually use it 1 hour a month. Many of those it could be argued are those just downloading it for the firsttime.
I find this troubling in that not one media outlet has caught on, while blindly promoting 80 million downloads. This is the equivolent of sirius claiming 50 million subscribers because thats how many satellite radio vehicles are on the road..
They will pump pandora to the retail investors so the insiders and venture capitalists can sell out. 6.00? 4.00? I'll lay odds its on the pinks within a year.

good idea...but sirius should wait until pandora stock is worth a penny or so a share...should take about 36 hours after the lockout period ends to get it there.

these guys dont understand an illiquid investment, because they've never seen an illiquid investment.
I'll bet people here had to sell shares at times they wish they didnt, simply because money was tight.
These investors have been locked out of selling for three years..they could have taken a large loss before today. Today, they get their money back.
Ever try to sell something on the white collar market? Much easier to sell common stock...and the filings for this were readied long ago..
