Today the Mays Report™ has become an operating unit of Mays Research™ and is expected to restart operations and relaunch the Mays Report™ web site sometime during 2016.
Mays Research™ is an independent investment research firm focused on the food production value chain from upstream seed and fertilizer companies to downstream food retail and distribution companies and supermarkets.
Our approach to analysis requires us to perform in depth research and analysis in the equities and alternative investments asset classes. Within those classes we cover companies in both the consumer staples and basic materials sectors in the equity asset class as well as the grains and livestock futures markets in the alternative investments asset class.

I am a contractor living in North Central FL and a graduate from the Rinker School of Building Construction at the University of Florida ( hence my handle) I am an avid reader of the markets and now try to focus on mostly dividend stocks or dividend growth stocks since I am close to retirement. I enjoy fishing, boating and other outdoor activities.
I am a fundamentally oriented value investor who complements this with technical analysis to help optimize price points selected for buying and selling.
I like companies with
* significant price to free cash flow
* high return on invested capital and return on equity
* book-adjusted earnings or cash returns exceeding 10%
In terms of geographical focus, I am willing to invest in most markets worldwide. I am skeptical of most Chinese companies trading outside of Hong Kong.
