seeking alpha and advice
I am a 28 year-old man looking to have a dividend income stream at retirement that matches or is greater than my working income.
My investment strategy currently involves dollar-cost-averaging and dividend growth.
I started investing in 2011 and am still trying to figure out many things about the stock market.
While I read a great deal of articles and asked for advice from many people, I don't like to be told what to do and try to always think for myself and make my own decisions. I plan on making mistakes and learning as best I can from them.
Thank you to everyone who has helped me learn something here at Seeking Alpha.
I am an dividend investor who's goal is to develop an income stream to allow a comfortable
retirement. I have been an investor for about 10-15 years starting in the late nineties with the dot com craze. After licking my wounds I slowly moved to Dividend Growth investing which has been a god send.
I find the subject of investing fascinating. I first started my journey many years ago thinking I was investing while in fact I was mostly speculating, not knowing what I was really doing I lost time and money in that process until I finally understood the concept of growth and value. I hold a blend portfolio of growth and dividend stocks. I buy mainly undervalued DG stocks and undervalued Growth stocks. Buying great companies at great price is a joyful adventure for me.
I work as a Business System Analyst for a global bio-pharmaceutical company based in Illinois. I am a value-investor that looks for opportunities to exploit market inefficiencies to make out sized profits. I generally am interested in the pharmaceutical industry as well as large income producing companies for value investing. Intense research, intelligence, and patience are the keys to having success with this strategy.
My ultimate objective is to leverage the knowledge, experience and relationships of our contributors to introduce our subscribers to profitable long and short investment opportunities in the healthcare sector.
My focus is on identifying and analyzing technically-complicated companies and equities that are grossly over or under-valued.
