    • Andreas Hopf: No mention of WP8 as viable OS alternative, apart from iOS.

    • bd4uandu: You get what you pay for.... Is this really a civil liberty issue?

    • Seppo Sahrakorpi: @bd4 I was wondering the same, not exactly ACLU's core area. And no-one is forced to buy that Droid c**p...

    • Andreas Hopf: Android devices, although I don't like 'em, can't be so bad, otherwise consumers wouldn't continue to buy them in droves. It's all relative.

    • DavidHart: Wait... This sounds like a complaint against the carriers, not Android or Google. It's the carriers who are failing to provide updates.

    • DavidHart: Beat on Android all you want, but Google has provided a constant stream of updates and fixes.

    • KIA Investment Research: The carriers don't want to push out an update if everything is working fine and the update could destabilize the system.

    • bd4uandu: I do wish they would try a little harder to get thing right the first time. These constant updates blow out my data plan.

    • hkng: S3 user here. No more Android unless it is more stable and faster.
