I stand fiercely committed to separating commission from advice and believe this value is the number one reason I am succeeding today, even as we transcend unprecedented industry-wide challenges. The author has been investing his entire life. Before he was born, his parents took the four shares of AT&T stock they received for attending a life insurance pitch and put it in his name. So, for the moment he was born, the author was an investor.
When the author is not wasting time at the computer, he works in sales.
The author never thought he'd get a chance to use the strategies he's writing about here. But then the internet came along and allowed him access to low cost, high quality information as well as low cost and even free trading. This allows the small investor to play along with the big guys.
The author has earned a bachelor's degree in both psychology and business. This allows him to better understand the stock market, as stock prices are determined by both market psychology and business fundamentals.
Besides investing, the author can also be found skiing, playing hockey, flying small planes, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
