The Quant Report seeks to fill the focus gap on fundamental and macro-economic data. The approach is purely quantitative. This is both its weakness and its strength. History tells an important tale, and as Mark Twain is believed to have said, “History does not repeat itself, it rhymes”. Numbers talk to you, they narrate the story of past times. But numbers cannot tell you everything; non numeric data tells a large part of the story too; and unfortunately The Quant Report does not capture this. Yet, the report provides important information; this information together with non numeric data, which may cause future expectations to depart from historic trends, can lead to better informed decisions.
