    Rasher,

There has been several complaints from central bankers about Wall Street's damage to the economy. There were no complaints when Glass-Steagall was repealed. They were silent, unless of course you can find evidence to the contrary. Sort of like, the earth is round, unless you can prove otherwise. You just like to hear yourself talk.

You've been weighed, measured .... and you've been found wanting.

    Billionaire888,

The Fed is the backstop for Wall Street - that has always been its role. By being silent when Wall Street pushes for more leeway to take on more risk, the Fed is complicit. That's the short answer.

    Steve,

The people who have mentored them were part of the Fed in 1999 or were silent when Glass-Steagall was repealed. That's the nuance. They are members of a fraternity where everybody looks alike and fit in. It's difficult to benefit from fraternity membership and then turnaround and accuse the fraternity of screwing up the economy.

    pav1of4,

INVN is in the Apple watch and Samsung's Galaxy S6 which is selling extremely well. If that's not enough to spur the stock then something else is wrong.

The market seems to focused on negative catalysts - margin compression risk of losing share to Bosch or STMicro.

    Bobcat9,

Where were Yellen and Bernanke in 1999? It's silly to let Yellen, Geitner or Bernanke say nothing when these failed policies are happening then make them heroes after they throw money at the problem,

    Bobcat9,

Bernanke and Yellen want it both ways. When Glass-Steagall was being repealed, they never said a word about it. They agreed with the powers that be and moved up through the ranks. Now that they are in power, they want to stem the crisis - a crisis that was created by a wrongheaded policy they were silent about - by throwing money at the problem. They also don't want to be blamed for anything.

The Fed has made the problem worse.

    Bobcat9,

They never should have overturned Glass-Steagall. That would have avoided the crisis to begin with.

SE has longs in a few stocks. Nontheless, the market has been pumped up by the Fed and is nothing more than a casino with no rationale as to why it goes up or down. This is an outrage.

    Rasher,

The low rates aren't working ... they are only leading to a bubble. Without the Fed's printing press, INVN would be half it's value. The Fed can't keep carrying you Rasher. The same goes for other investors who blindly throw money at stocks and expect them to go up ... simply because they have gone up in the past.
