I'm a contrarian investor with a long term horizon. I believe the largest gains are often a result of going against the herd. I often try to catch a falling knife, after I feel it has fallen enough. I am young, so I tend to take a long term view on investments, often not worried about small dips (although I'm a believer of trailing stop losses) I am enrolled in the CFA program and hope someday to be a research analyst.Currently I'm a Project Manager at an Architectural Company in Toronto. I tend to follow a strict checklist when investing in stocks. The checklist, among others, includes: **positive insider activity. **strong revenue growth with improving cashflow. **strong mangement teams with a good track record. **stocks trading 20% or more off their 52 week highs.
