In establishing valuation in this manner I am using guidance of EBITDA as well as assumptions on the pace of the buyback.
The new debt issue actually increases the EV, thus making a higher valuation easier to justify
I am not one to short either of these equities. That is a dangerous play in my opinion unless you are playing a hedge or straddle.
I find it quit Interesting that I get slammed for calling 3 months of scripts at 40,000 and $12 million in revenue by many when that is exactly how the ball would get rolling toward $200 million. I also find it interesting that for all of the talk of a blockbuster out of the gate ($1 billion in sales in 1 year) that people seem excited about getting to 20% of that. I have taken a cautious approach for months now, get slammed for it, but the second Eisai comes out with numbers that correlated, everyone is excited.
There is still a lot of water that needs to flow under the proverbial bridge before we use words like massive. There is potential there...indeed, but what if the market dictates that the price needs to be $60 instead of $200?
