I agree, though it seems the market is slow roasting the bears day by day.

Jeez Ray... I think you'll be waiting a very long time before Apple presents itself at $250 again... yikes...

It's not a matter of hating Apple... perhaps I didn't communicate properly if that's what is being conveyed. What I was saying is that to the die hard Apple fans it probably seems as if I am an Apple hating monster. I could dig deeply into the "why" here but there's little value in it from a share price perspective. I have tried the products, I just have not owned them. My penchant for PC gaming keeps me from the computer end of things. I prefer my galaxy S3 over what I have seen in the iPhone, and I like my Asus transformer prime tablet with keyboard dock for a little toy to mess around with. Were price a concern, I'd also appreciate the savings that these choices offer me over iProducts.

Anyways my point was that personal preference or bias in the past kept me away from the great investment that Apple is. Obviously, the world does not operate within my personal "bubble" ;) and despite my preferences not changing as far as the products, I believe I have matured enough in investing to understand that at this level Apple presents an extremely attractive long entry point and even a good opportunity for a quick trade at these oversold levels.

Thanks very much for the constructive comment tk! Obviously we disagree on Google glass... While current implementation my seem a bit gimmicky right now, wearable computing, small HMD with holographic projection, and some form of seamless input ... voice, spatial, or a combination (or something else) will be the next move. Picking the right player there could pay off big time.

It most certainly could be Apple yet again, too... time will tell.

Thanks Sonia and I agree with your sentiment. I really appreciate the constructive comment. Way oversold here, and "who knows where the bottom is?" is very true. Does it have to stop at $400? Nope. Do I see value at $400? Do I see technical indications that $400 is a reasonable point to go long? I certainly do on both counts. Nibbling here and there at these levels, in my opinion, should provide you a good average base to move up from once the bottom is in, though. Best of luck to you :)

Then don't trust me? Not sure what you'd like me to say here. In the dark to every innovation in the last 15 years? Wasn't the first iPod out in 2001? Has Apple been the only company with innovative products in the past 12 years? Or are you saying I have been in the dark on Apple innovations?

You don't have to trust me... you could do the opposite of what I am suggesting and short Apple here or sell your holdings I guess? Instead of questioning my credibility can you provide any hints as to what Apple's next big thing may be?

Hard to say where it becomes overbought again! I think that's a long ways away..... still hasn't bottomed here yet in my opinion. Ask me once it turns back up :)

I'm not sure where you're going with this. Apple will take over the world, perhaps? Apple will make the next big thing, and the next, and the next?

Just relax.... Apple will show you the way! ;)

But it didn't take me a while to understand the iPod and iPhone. As I explained it was my dislike for Apple from the 80's and 90's which kept me from investing when I saw winning products. iPod and iPhone were glaringly obvious right out of the box as sure fire winners and Apple was the company which got those technologies mostly right. I was a fool not to invest in the company at the time. Even with the small amount of capital I had back in 2004 I'd have turned that into over $1,000,000 today had I simply bought Apple stock, and probably far more had I continued to buy with my monthly contributions on through the iPhone right up to 5's release.

I would love to believe they can still innovate. I have personal issues with the company and how they approach things and I still think that unless they change strategy in some ways they will fall out of favor given time (something I may cover in an article... too much to go on about here) but I don't doubt that they can yet again wow the world with some new tech. I just can't "see" it yet... maybe I need Google's new HMD for that ;) (kidding...)

Like you I have an awful lot of respect for what Apple has accomplished. They've executed extremely well and have been rewarded handsomely for doing so (and investors who have believed in them all along are sitting pretty right now even with the recent pull back). I tend to think that even without that shiny new toy, they can monetize existing products to great extent, and thus around current pricing is an extreme value play.
