I see you are accumulating various companies. I know you and I have very similar strategies but could you provide clarity in how you are picking up shares? PG appears overvalued and I see that you own it. Are you just purchasing shares in all companies you wish to own as long as they are fairly valued? What is your though process in terms of each stock weighted in your portfolio? Are you investing $500 per stock or waiting until you have 1K or 2K per equity.
Sorry for the many questions but I am extremely curious.
Best wishes with your portfolio. We will both be doing well in 40 years. Are you having burgers on my yacht or will we be having a drink on yours come 2053?

AAPL is my sole tech stock right now. However, if I were to ever add to it in the future I would add INTC as my portfolio expands. AAPL is still superior in my eyes.

Excellent point. When you put it that way I guess it's somewhat of a positive. However, more money is never a bad thing.
I'm getting better with the patience. Live and learned.
I sold PM to buy AAPL when that stock was falling. That may prove to have been the right move but in hindsight I miss having PM. It's run up a bit since then as well and the valuation is getting pricey.
Now my coke that I bought for 32 split adjusted is phenomenal. Its my second largest holding and boy was I happy to have picked up shares when it traded sideways for a few months.
Like I said before, you live and learn.

You are right, I do have a list of "Future Buys" as I call them which I update about monthly. I never have trouble finding a few that deserve to be on the list. And usually it's pretty diversified as well. The hardest part comes when determining which I like most based on valuation.
I just wish my monthly contributions were greater than $450, I usually wait a about 2 months to start a new position.
I wish I had more money and quicker !

I want to add another stock to my core and I keep switching between PM and CVX based on current valuations. I am leaning towards PM but I guess it's a good issue to have.
What is everyone thoughts on cheapest valuation with DGI right now? I think AFL should be included in my dilemma but I feel like tobacco especially global will be huge over the next few decades.
China increased its holdings of U.S. Treasuries by $8.7B in February according to the Treasury Department. Meanwhile. Japan unloaded $6.8B of U.S. government debt, bringing its stash to $1.097T, a one year low. Analysts attributed some of the selling by the Japanese to positioning ahead of the BOJ's monumental easing campaign. China's holdings sat at a 15-month high going into March. [View news story]
