I am a value investor to the greatest extent possible. I also favor dividend stocks. I try to be a buy-and-hold investor, but sometimes I can't avoid the tempation to ring the register or to accumulate the inevitable tax loss. The main thing I have learned is that I have lost more money by selling too soon than for any other reason. I reside in Henderson, NV.
I am a technician in the Financial Sector (Banking). I support hardware and software related to banking, including ATM services. I have been working in this field since 1998. The excellent company I work for is Case Financial. I enjoy studying the Financial Markets in general, and have, over the last year become very interested in the Energy Sector. Maybe part of the reason for my interest is rooted in my past work experience. In the 1980's I worked the oilfields of North Dakota, Colorado, Wyoming, I worked building oil well sites (survey), work over rig hand, drilling rig hand, helicopter crew seismic survey crew, and various other positions, as needed. The picture is my pride and joy, Logan.
Retired entrepreneur who now manages his stock portfolio full time. Mainly a dividend investor, particularly international stocks without withholding taxes as my tax position does not allow me to reclaim any withholding taxes.
I am ALWAYS looking for interesting stock ideas involving dividend paying stocks that pay dividends with zero or very low withholding taxes and willing to share ideas with other investors.
I also like high risk situations as I am well diversified and have a long time horizon
