    Back in January 2006, Apple traded at 80. Stock sold off to 50 by April on much the same stuff -- weak iPods, notebooks, poor execution, the like. By June was back up with a steady climb until its recent high of 200. That 50 was a great buying opportunity. January 2008 to now is a mirror of that time. Stock price here represents another great entry.

    The point is that most of the costs of sold iPhones: engineering, marketing, sales have already been entered as they occur. Also the profits minus a reduced cost is being drawn out and as a result keeps massing.

    keep doing a fabulous job, Steve. there is a cache to having a stock keep rising without splits. as the company becomes bigger, the amount of cash that it keeps as a % of market cap goes down. keep the cash and keep up the great job
