Steve Vanechanos was elected to serve on the American Stock Exchange Board of Governors from 2005 - 2008. He chaired its Technology Committee and served on its Audit Committee and its Finance & Budget Committee.

Steve founded Third Millennium Strategies - a boutique consulting firm specializing in strategic management consulting to small cap companies (under $1 billion market capitalization) in 2000.

In 1994, Steve founded DynamicWeb Enterprises - a business to business e-Commerce company - and served as its CEO until 2000. He received patent #5,884,309 for Internet software developed in 1994. Steve merged DynamicWeb into eB2B Commerce in March 2000 in a transaction that valued DynamicWeb at $50 million.
