    If I'm at work "creating content" on my desktop/laptop, versus "consuming" it on my smartphone. I like the idea of receiving and replying to my BBM's and other messages via the desktop/laptop version versus always having to grab my phone off of my belt or desk.

    I think there is a utility to having BBM on the desktop. Isn't the rumor that you can send/receive SMS sync with your phone as well?

    Although there is geopolitical risk associated with Russia. I highly doubt that Putin considers a Canadian based company to be the same as a U.S. based company. It is a little more than the difference between Coke and Pepsi as a beverage.

    Not too mention that if Putin does that he risks even more capital flight out of Russia and more of his Oligarch allies turning their support on him as they watch their wealth sanctioned (locked) and slip through their fingers.
