Those who defend Google's monopoly do so because they have not been affected yet. There are too many reports amongst webmasters of Google using it's position to sandbox sites whose political content they disagree with, for me to feel entirely comfortable with them lately. The author of this post is correct imho, and it is a shame he feels he needs to hide his name, lest he experience a backlash from Google. That alone should be a tip off that Google has grown too big. Competition is healthy, and I for one am starting to use Bing now, just to help support diversity.
In regards to the poster who wrote that there is probably a backlog of banks to be closed...yes I believe you are correct. Back in 2007, I remember following the story that the FDIC was hiring retired senior personnel in preparation for 'hundreds' of anticipated bank failures. We knew then we were sailing straight into rough water. I'm amazed anyone is surprised by these headlines.
In fact, the backlog may now be so great that there is talk of the need for a "Bank Holiday" within months during which a number of failed institutinos could be dealt with. Some say this would be accompanied by a sizeable devaluation of the US currency (a step the IMF says is necessary for any US recovery, per a recent article, link posted below)
Of course, as necessary as the move might be, the havoc these two actions would wreak on an already fragile 'recovery' (lol) one can only imagine. Sadly, this is not out of the realm of possibilities. If some sources are to be believed, US embassies abroad are being told to stockpile local currency in order to meet expenses for up to a year : www.youtube.com/watch?...
This is what I have always thought would happen to these 5000 sf houses when the bottom finally fell out.
In the 1930s, as my father told me, unsellable luxury brownstones were carved up into tiny apartments to satisfy realistic housing needs during the depression. I have long been waiting for the same to happen to houses which are too costly for most single families to maintain (wait until the additional power and heating costs after cap and trade hit home Most of these homes were built with 1 at most 2 zones of heating)

Ah, well that's the problem, isn't it? China is calling the tune, and apparently they ain't too happy about our buying back debt either, cuz that's cheating: ( www.telegraph.co.uk/fi...)
But if we don't buy them, who will? China won't be too happy about that either..

forgot to add: Rule #11: The safety of a stock pick is in direct inverse proportion to the number of CAPS, exclamation points and grammatical errors used in posts used to promote it

Friend, I hear there is a website where nekked shorters gather to plot their next devious move: "nakedtrading.com". You might want to glance at the membership list, it could save you some time. Good luck, and call me at the Treasury any time. Elvis and I eagerly await your next update.
