well, I don't see any reason that would happen with SSYS. It'd take a couple of years of mega loses before getting to any point like that.

think i agree this is the one to own, but not sure I'd touch it at $28.

    Andreas,
You don't think anything is left for SSYS to move forward. Not sure much has changed other than the ebbs and flows of normal cycles.

Seriously doubt you ever see this stock hit $15. What would rational be for that valuation?

Yeah, shorting from $100+ would've been ideal. The current level is similar to that level on the downside. It might go lower, but the stock likely ends higher than $35 in a few years.

New lows thanks to DDD. Definite signs weakness exists in the industrial space and the above suggests MakerBot remains a problem as well.

Not surprised to hear about the staff cuts on Friday. Sad but expected based on the continued poor survey rankings and market share loss. A little shocked at the reports about tight finances. SSYS has plenty of cash.

"The industry should pivot to printing more fully functional and finished products or components in volumes that greatly outnumber the volumes of prototypes produced."

This is good news for SSYS... more volume.

    sfpdf,
isn't that basically how all new techs go? Heck, AAPL was close to going to zero at one point. It all depends if SSYS/DDD keep innovating. Don't think any real doubt exists on whether the market will be there, the question as you put is whether SSYS/DDD take advantage of it or if somebody else swoops it and puts them out of business.

SSYS doesn't need consumers at home to buy printers in order to succeed.

    Darbyred,
if you believe GAAP is the best numbers to use, than you probably shouldn't invest in a fast-growing industry reliant on acquisitions and stock-based compensation.
