  • Bought DKS on the pullback

DKS hit the 20ema at $18.4 around noon today so we bough back part of the position that we sold at $20. Weakness is starnge today considering the market and that UA and NKE are both up as well. Some of the store retailers are down so its possibly just a sector move, but something to watch.

  • Buy the Dip on ALVR earnings

Disappointingly ALVR gave negative guidance for Q2 and the stock is selling off big time today. In reality, its only giving up the gains of the last couple of days, but still its unjustified for ALVR to be below the 20/50emas while half the market is now soaring above the 200emas. ALVR grew their backlog and suggested that several $20M+ contracts were still in the pipeline. Some how ALVR continues to be the only global growth story that isn't recognized as being global growth.

We're adding to positions at $3 this afternoon.

  • Dumped BX on over extension

As of this morning, BX traded at over 30% above the 20ema. Usually stocks can't extend beyond that level so either they'll decline or trade sideways for a while until the chart catches up. For now, we've excited our position in our Growth fund looking for a lower reentry.
