Helix, 5 entities own 40%. hmmm who wins by getting out first? Heard of OPEC and the oil cartel that crumbled in the 80's? I doubt you have, or you'd have more respect for history.

razors edge, (btw love the avatar, and the movie, hurt was amazing) i attach my response to a kind soul who was warning me of my short on crm, on an article i wrote 4 days ago:
" christopher thank you for your input. If I'd listened earlier I would have saved myself a packet! However, momentum is fine until it isnt. I suspect Farcebook fail will catalyse a change in momentum. And I think CRM's first haircut will be 30%, a la GMCR. So not going to wait for the volte face.
me and my friends know i can be incredibly stubborn. And in the long run it has paid off. Handsomely. I am long a growth stock on a 4X P/cash and short this on a 52X currently. I know I'll win.
So hangin on with the short with the skin of my teeth!"
Razor, my intuition tells me the tides are turning. FB flop will be the catalyst. CRM, imo, upside from here 10-15%, downside 40-50%, probably a binary outcome in the next 90 days. I'll keep my short.

the rick, the only thing that's going to change fast is your personal wealth, if you believe the crud u write.
FB is the start of an inflection point. Zero interest rates, QExx, all this is going to end, as the most lauded IPO comes to flames. Back to the old school.
By the way it's very old school. it began at the dawn of civilisation. you know, concepts like borrowing money and demanding a return for the risk. old school stuff like that.....

So just to understand your rationale on cashflow: -if a company is making no profit but issues its shares to employees instead, you would consider this growing cashpile as a good company?
Do you understand every share issued to an employee is a drain on existing shareholders into perpetuity. in your 'model' this is not only ignored, but a source of cash???
You might be right, that markets have gone beyond 'árcane' accounting principles. it certainly feels like it. I very much doubt it can last, but it may well be in these zero-interest rate, QExx times.
But then we might as well all give up, cos the endpoint is going to be very ugly. it defies nature and logic since the dawn of civilisation.

fastball, if u start with net income on GAAP, it has option expense as a cost. so on their 'cash flow from operations' they add it back. Being Buffetian, I dont think selling shares for cash is operations, and i take it off. That's what I'm doing. Am I wrong?

helix, you are a classic example of this warped world we live in. People like you are gullibly sucked into a convoluted logic.
why do i say this:
you believe a company that issues shares to its employees for cash is growing its cash.
Maaan, where do i start.
I would over a chat. but I simply dont have the energy to write it.
