I am a private investor with a value-slant. In my view value can be found in all parts of the market, sometimes in the form of very low price-to-tangible asset value plays, sometimes in large firms where market pessimism has been excessive and recent management actions and progress on improving financial performance has been discounted. I have been active in the stock market for the last 15 years and, as such, had an opportunity to see one of the greatest bull markets and one of the largest financial crises first hand in my portfolio. I regularly trade a number of stocks and utilise options to actively manage medium and long-term portfolio positions.
