Beware of Stock Spam Promotion in Major Financial Publications

You have to wonder about the desperation for ad dollars or maybe ad dollars are so much greater than the potential for lost subscribers and/or credibility. Case in point - why does IBD run full length ads for competing services like gorillatrades and vector vest. Never understood that. The GZGT promotion is even more bewildering. It would be nice to hear a statement from at least one of these publications!

Outstanding investigative journalism Davis. As you said, yes these kind of unscrupulous business practices, deals go on all the time and more needs to be done about it. What's so striking about this particular pump and dump is the incredible irresponsibility of Business Week, Fortune, Forbes and Investors Business Daily by running these full page ads. What were they thinking!? ..and why in the heck was Kiplingers the only major media outlet to pick this up? This is important and it absolutely should not happen again.
