  • 3 Reasons Why A New Bottom For Gold Will Likely Prove Elusive For Now [View article]
If this truly is the bottom, which it probably isn't, then the best approach to gold is to dollar cost average. It's easier to ease into a market that way.

  • Is This Miner Worth Its Weight In Gold? [View article]
I favor Barrick Gold over Newmont Mining. Barrick's Cortez mine in Navada is the lowest cost per gold ounce mine in the world at 284 dollars an ounce. Talk about world class.

  • Gold's Sharp Rebound Confirms Bottom Is In [View article]
I agree. This little spike doesn't mean anything as of 7:25 am April 26. If physical silver climbs above 25 then there may be a recovery. if it just falls to 22 or 23 again, expect lower prices. Its all about making new highs and lows. Fridays close will be interesting as well as next week.

  • Barrick Gold: Is Pascua-Lama A Company Breaker? [View article]
I'm surprised with Itinerant. Out of all the miners ABX is probably one of the better off. With a 5% dividend and one of the lowest cost mines in the States ABX is one of the better investments in this type of gold environment, if you are a gold bull.

  • Pebble Mine And The Big, Bad Mining Wolf [View article]
Great article! I just saw a documentary about the Pebble Project and you covered many important details. Tailings, the fault line, dam failures and ecosystem effects are all incredibly important issues. The mine developers must take into consideration what might happen 10,000 years from now in the Alaskan region. The project failure, which seems likely, would be a big loss to Anglo American because if I am not mistaking they have put almost $500 million into the project.

  • Gold Prices To Re-Test $1,350 [View article]
I agree, its all about making higher highs and lower lows, and gold doesn't seem be making higher highs lately.

Alcoa seems to be an okay play in China. AA's growth in China could be better but I still like the company. They create unique value for the investor in new technologies. Like for example new technologies to make cars lighter and more efficient.

  • You Can Bet On Gold Glittering Again [View article]
Alot can happen in 25 years and if the price is stable it might be good to own a little gold...but not tie up a bunch of cash in it.

I like collecting older silver too. I just keep that separate from my bullion, which I sold a couple of days ago before the big fall in silver. Will be buying back very soon.
