Goldfield: A 'Four-Bagger' In The Making [View article]
Wyo, I think the market is placing its bets that GV may have a chance of winning a bid on an additional CREZ project.
Here is a note to GeoInvesting premium members on March 1, 2013
"We believe that Goldfield’s subsidiary Southeast Power Corporation is one of 5 companies who have bid on the Bakersfield to Odessa leg of the CREZ project.
The other four seem to be Barnard Construction, Irby, Mastec, Inc. (NYSE:http://bit.ly/Yb17JT) and Michels. Mastec held its year end conference call this morning. In this call, we noticed the company did mention an electrical project win, but did not talk about the project GV is bidding on. In its prior third quarter 2012 conference call MTZ specifically mentioned the project win they were awarded - the 118-mile 345 kV transmission line in West Texas as part of the CREZ project.
Thus, we are assuming that MTZ did not win the Bakersfield to Odessa project. We also noticed that Barnard’s web-site provides a list of projects it is working on. This list does not mention the Bakersfield project. Thus, we also believe Barnard was not awarded the Bakersfield project. We are still performing due diligence on the other two companies, but the odds that GV has won this project have increased if our assumptions are correct."

User 712, We are constantly working on new ideas. While we publish some them on Seeking Alpha, we provide much more intel to geoinvesting.com members. We have several new potential multi-baggers in the pipeline. You can also continue to follow us on SA.
133tdrago. it was great that you were able to identify this pump and dump. keep up the good work. it seems that your intuition and research was spot on. We did not see your work, and always cite/link our references. Hopefully in the future you can get more exposure for your efforts. Regards.
Why Green Innovations Stock Is Likely To Fall By 70% Or More [View article]
Aqua, Keep up the good work. Don' t simply base your article timing on price. They can't all be perfectly timed scenarios. This type of work will build your reputation for the next one. Our members were shorting ECAU and GNIN in the $3 area, but by the time we were able to get full blown articles out to SA the stocks had fallen. Still, there was opportunity to make money. Remember these stocks are going close to zero.
The good news is that you were able to short this stock over $2.00. Heck, anything over $1 is looking good too.
Let me know if you ever want to share any P&D ideas. We also line them up on our blog with quick briefings. We found several more candidates we will be talking about in the morning.

Exactly @blackswans. We pared this installment down by 80% just to get it out in the timeliest manner possible. So yes, that means part 2 is on its way.
And @briandwright, just because the stock dumped does not mean you can't glean very useful information from this or any other article we put out on pump and dumps. Understanding the dynamics of these plays is important so you can identify the next opportunity.

that's ok, we sent this article to our premium members (http://bit.ly/VFHhuP) when the stock was trading above $3.00. We can not speak to the speed at which they are published here once they are submitted to SA editors. thanks for the observation though ;)

Mark: you stated:
"I read all the comments. this 'smells' a little different than a 'normal' pump and dump. Too much money spent on marketing and the Indy tie in seems ok... I am not ready to call it a p/d yet."
Indy tie is legit? Are to serious? You should listen to Mayor's press conference and read summary excerpts:
Quote 1:
“requiring the city to replace its nearly 500 non-police sedans with electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles. New vehicles would be purchased as older ones are retired, and the city hopes to completely swap out its current 3100-vehicle fleet by 2025.”
Quote 2:
…”the city is currently working with multiple automakers in order to meet the city’s goals to replace its fleet of police cars.”
The promotional email conveniently failed to mention that the Mayor is already in discussion with major automakers. Furthermore, ECUA’s “business plan” appears to be geared towards converting existing vehicles whereas it seems that the Mayor would like to purchase new vehicles from established automakers. Considering such statements, we conclude that the odds that ECAU will play a meaningful part in the city’s transformation process seem to be grossly over-exaggerated.
And the video ride with the mayor is far from an endorsement .. more like a joy ride.

right, but (referencing the audio on the site) it looks like one of these technologies was a vehicle conversion one. Obviously, they could not raise the money (credits) to accomplish goals.

We certainly need to look at this finding more closely. GoENV is/was run by Jason Plotke and Dan Kennedy. Why have two sites that do the same thing with two different trade names: ENV vs Echodrive. When I go to the twitter page for GoEnv the site link actually takes me to the Echo site. Yet the number on the GoEnv works and still uses the name Control Carbon, even though the name change should have occurred in August 2012.
Is the company rebranding the business, perhaps because it failed under previous name? The GeEnv twitte page ends in 2011.

The real sizzle behind this story is MTSL's penetration into the MVNO market. You should focus on understanding the growth potential from this angle. We coded MTSL as a GeoBargain a couple weeks ago. http://bit.ly/14T3KWz

FYI. $0.20 is still too pricey for GNIN.
