  • MediJane Prime To Attract Regulator Attention Amid Slew Of Red Flags [View article]
If the story is so good why are shareholders financing a massive pump campaign on the stock? Why give Pharma Bio 26M shares when MJMD was trading over $1.00? We think that is insane for a development stage company. As for the questions you posed to our team, have the company be specific with the answers in filings.

  • Medijane Pump Campaign Being Funded By Shareholder(S) By Up To $400,000 Weekly Budget! [View instapost]
How do you think regulators will react to the fact that large shareholders are paying money to support what looks to be an obvious pump and dump campaign.

That is part of the scam of a PD. Look a little legit.. just enough to lure investors. Lots of these PD have limited product.. That is what makes them work. But look at what these insiders are worth. Why waste time in building a long-term viable company when they can just cash in millions in stock and not have to deal with an industry that will threaten the survival of the company.

You should read up on the Sunpeak holding PD. They had product too.

  • Baker Street Capital's Big Bet: The Next Catalyst To Drive USA Truck Shares Higher [View article]
USAK today announced that its Board of Directors has unanimously voted to terminate the Company's Stockholders' Rights Plan effective April 11, 2014.

"We adopted the Stockholders' Rights Plan in November 2012 as we began implementing a comprehensive turnaround program, designed to bring increased value to USA Truck's stockholders and increased opportunities for our employees. The Plan was designed to give the Company time to execute our turnaround without unnecessary distractions, including unsolicited and inadequate takeover offers.”

To reiterate: We coded USAK as a GeoBargain on 11/14/2013 when the stock was trading at $13.55.

John, When do these guys achieve non-GAAP EPS profitability? Even with the cost savings coming in 2014 they still would be losing money. Have you considered performing a valuation analysis where you value the SaaS business and non-SaaS business separately? You could probably place an EV/S multiple of 4 to 8 on the SaaS revenue as long it can grow at 20% + clip. How much revenues currently comes from SaaS?

    Thanks

Nice article. In your opinion why is the company unable to achieve a profit? Mainly from marketing expense? if so, not really a problem if the company has a low customer churn rate.

Have you talked to these guys about being a little more proactive on the IR front? We have aggressively bought pink sheeters PFHO and CSTI since the management teams have not totally abandoned shareholder communication? We do won a little PDRX.

Nice article. You should check our articles on MKTG and ET we wrote about a few months ago. We predicted both would be taken out (as did many others). You are correct not to focus on P/Es when formulating valuation scenarios for SaaS companies. P/S and EV/S are much better barometers. Have you run this analysis for CTCT? Also. take a look at LYRI and VOCS. (we also wrote about VOCS)
