Dr. Nystrom advocates and uses a top-down/bottom up, sector rotation investment approach. This method involves identifying: (1) global economic and financial trends—the “top down,” (2) growth sectors, (3) undervalued companies in the favored sector based on fundamental analysis—the “bottom up.” As high growth sectors rotate, he moves assets into the latest favored sector.
