I am a young investor seeking to understand intermarket forces. Being born in an era where information and opinions run rampant (often with no factual basis at all), I seek to learn from the mistakes of the past and learn how to identify what the market is saying.

David Song studied macroeconomic policies under a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis while attending the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree majoring in finance. During his undergraduate program, he acquired a strong understanding of technical analysis from a former-president of the Market Technicians Association, and incorporates both fundamentals and technicals in his analysis.
For personal investing, I typically search for macro trends via the study of commodities, interest rates and currencies. After identifying and investing in various instruments derived from these asset classes, I use these macro trends to recogize specific sectors and types of companies that may be ripe for growth over the next few years. I make short term plays as well as long term plays.
