ABOUT
I am a mechanical engineer that began investing in 2008 after the market crash. I saw that event as a great opportunity to enter the stock market, and I have been learning the trade ever since.
My strategy is to keep it simple with strong dividend companies and buy when my favorite stocks plunge. Unless there's a good reason for that plunge.
I embrace the Peter Lynch method of choosing companies to invest in using a common sense approach, and you'll find that in my articles. When writing, I try to avoid getting too much into the fundamentals (since there are already good articles on that) and instead focus on current events, consumer trends, controversies, public perception, etc. that shows a side to ...More the company other than pure numbers.
By taking a look back at events and offering my own interpreting of what they mean for the future, I open myself up to receiving lots of comments. Knowing this, I purposely try to follow and respond to these comments for several days after publishing, in order to further discussion. I find that despite my best research, the most valuable data about a company is often what the readers have to say about it.
