I'm not sure you did your homework.

Its called "The Wall" ... what you are referring to as the CNBC heatmap...that is the trademarked name.

Please expand on the number of "holes" in the article.

I just mentioned one in your comments.

  • 2 Trades: One Bouncing Off a Bottom, Another With Great Momentum [View article]
Give it some time. Its not a company that people have any familiarity with given its presence in China. Its lagged that industry a bit, and it should start to catch up. Analysts are starting to notice it, company is starting to get earnings consistent.

One thing is for sure. They are in a great growth market and are unnoticed...great value right now.

The price target we have designed does not take into account P/E. Rather, we take the P/E ratio into account when we are determing our rating of Buy, Sell, Hold.

Not that is matters to anyone, but the Value score was based on the new P/E ratio (p/e at 5+) as well as our Buy, Sell, Hold rating.

The thesis and picture were done by a separate part of our company, and they made a mistake.

We do apologize for this mistake, and we have contacted SA already to make the change.

We made a mistake with LDK.

We apologize and will correct the data.

It will not change our opinion on PT, but it may change our thesis.

This is a new venture we are working on, and we have learned some vital information from this.

    We do appreciate the feedback.

I understand that they may improve, but an IPO adds more shares to already a lot of other shares they have.

When you make fair value estimates...you take equity value and divide it by shares (a very, very simplified explanation). If you are adding more shares, it reduces the company's future share prices. Obviously they are going to see growth, but we do not see that growth being enough to make up for their high amount of shares and low margins.

The great thing about investing is we all have our opinions, and we will just have to wait and see.

I wish you the best of luck with your position...just our company's opinion.

    That was for a daytrade.

    This is for long-term investing.

Two different things. We liked it for a trade. We do not like it for an investment. I've explained in much detail above.

The report is free, so not sure what we are selling.

LDK ranks 10th out 12th in EPS...so I would say that is low when compared to competition. The problem is that they have earnings but way too many shares. 4th most. When you have equity value that is so-so due to high debt divided by significant share totals than you have low price targets.

Their operating margin ranks 8/12. Their gross margin ranks 10/12.
These are low margins compared to the industry standards and what companies can obtain in their industry, so they do have low margins.

So where is the mistake? We say they underperform in their sector...and they do.

    Haha...

Does anyone else find this funny?

I wrote since its last earnings report...not since the day before its earnings report.

It reported and dropped in pre-market opened lower. Since that day to now is 10%...

    Geez.
