I knew you'd say that rather than admit you had no idea he made an insider purchase. Maybe he's not done buying, but the dude single-handedly owns like 60% of the company already that he bought and was awarded zero in options.

As for the buyback, it's in the hands of a broker so that the company doesn't make any decisions as to timing.

You mean like this insider purchase the CEO bought today alone or did you mean the $500,000 active buyback?

    lol

I still think PFHO is going to $100 and so does Kubota apparently since he is "aggressively buying back the stock now" -- literally. :)

  • Blonder Tongue Explodes On Earnings: Will An Imminent DIRECTV Deal Propel It Higher? [View article]
I've been long gone BDR. The stock rallied to $2.88 following my article and I had a follow-up article stating my concerns:

Since the DTV deal didn't happen during Q4 there was no reason to think it would contribute to Q4 results.

Almost for the two customer losses for reasons beyond their control, just about every corner of PFHO business has been growing and profitable every quarter for years. Management expects 2015 to be bigger than 2014 and management has a long history of being conservative to a fault.

"During the nine-month period ended September 30, 2014 these overflow revenue fees contributed $884,925, or 52%, toward the increase in UR revenues."

You do the math. Meanwhile the company continues to expand and expects a banging 2015.

In terms of valuation, growth as a percentage of market cap is most important. It doesn't matter the % growth on units if that % growth is still too soft compared to present value the market prices the stock at.

In this case, LOCO is still a sell I believe despite 7% unit growth the price you pay for that unit growth is too steep in my opinion.

It doesn't matter the percentage growth on units to me -- what matters is the percentage growth on market cap. LOCO is pricing a market cap the size of PLKI then it better be growing like PLKI at PLKI's pace.

Plus we don't even know if LOCO's expansion will fall flat on its face like it did the last time they tried to expand outside of CA. PLKI has already proven the portability of its business model to other states. LOCO hasn't.

I don't think the tourist investors who are populating and bidding up SHAK are going to realize what he said this year. I do believe SHAK will crash this year sooner not from fundamental realization but from a circus coming to town.

27 restaurants? That's impressive to you?

Then you should love PLKI -- market caps similar (at least used to be) but PLKI is opening 115 to 150 new restaurants this year while blowing away LOCO's same-store sales for Q4. And did it with traffic.

GTIM market cap is priced at one-fifth the size of RT which is in the process of collapsing. Yes, I'd say GTIM is still quite cheap here. I have an article pending that focuses on GTIM that hopefully will be published shortly.

Their contribution is not material enough for my taste. India is showing promise but it's still tiny. China demand continues to dominate.
