  • Lumber Liquidators: Gas Stove Is A Higher Level Formaldehyde Source In The Home [View article]
and there are levels of arsenic in the water supply.

But that doesn't make arsenic safe nor does it make formaldehyde safe. The fact that there are other sources of dangerous and cancer-causing formaldehyde in the home is more the reason we don't like LL adding to it.

It's ridiculous to point to other sources that create toxic poisons as justification for LL adding more toxic poisons.

I've spoon fed you several links from qualified professionals that show formaldehyde causes nasal cancer which is a particularly deadly form of cancer.

You keep coming back with lung cancer and rat studies. I'm talking humans, and so is Reel Ken and so a host of other qualified organizations.

Personally I'm surprised SA hasn't pulled this ridiculous article.

Many members of the SBUX cult are convinced there will never be any setbacks. It will be fun to revisit this article and include it in a future article.

Noncash will help though investors may be focused on the EPS figure cash or not. Certainly cash flow, in light of the debt payments, will likely be much less than EPS anyway.

    From the 10K:

"Interest expense of $816,000 in the fiscal 2015 period represents accrued interest of $750,000 on the 10.000% Senior Secured Notes commencing March 10, 2015 and amortization of debt discounts and issuance costs of $66,000 during the same period. As a result of the issuance of the 10.000% Senior Secured Notes, Nathan’s expects to incur interest expense of $13.5 million per annum and annual amortization of debt discounts and issuance costs of $1,185,000."

So $14.7 million instead of $14.8 million. There was also other interest expense that has since been satisfied so $14.7 million annually should be more accurate.

Was wondering that myself as the fiscal Q4 interest seems too high for the time period. Compounding interest explains part of it. Maybe there are other fees tucked in there that are classified as interest for accounting purposes.

I honestly can't think of why any rational person would be long NATH given what's about to happen.

Hell, the president and COO isn't even long NATH anymore and is hitting the road. If you're in NATH for good tax treatment, then I have great news because NATH is going to make an excellent tax write-off from here.

I agree, however, SBUX clearly had the plan to expand the bakery chain nationwide and something clearly went wrong since the decision to close the chain came exactly one year after a large new unit in Los Angeles.

Maybe it was something with the founder who can be found criticizing SBUX for what it did to his pastries. SBUX may have said "the hell with you." Or vice versa.

Plans change. No biggy. It's just an example that SBUX doesn't necessarily have the Midas touch on anything it tries.
