Avalon Bay: A Look at Apartment REITs

Some people (Denninger) say the whole reit sector isn't going to be able to refinance long term debt when they need to. I don't know where avb is with having to refinance it's debt. Latest Forbes shows avb only 38% debt to equity. Apartments otherwise seem like a good investment in bad times. I sold avb at over 100 and it's the only reit I'm long on now. I hope you're right about being able to sustain the dividend.
