Quantitative advisors Inc Quantitative Advisors, Inc. is a regional investment advisory firm that serves individuals, corporations and association members nationwide. We offer financial planning and investment management services that combine modern portfolio theory with objective financial advice and investment selection.

Through our allied professional program, we help financial planning, investment, tax and insurance practitioners design and implement their financial planning and investment management platforms and offerings. Our management team is lead by Thomas E. Wagner and John Theobald.

Thomas E. Wagner is the President and founder of Quantitative Advisors, Inc. Tom has accumulated over 15 years of investment advisory and brokerage experience prior to founding Quantitative Advisors. In addition, he is an adjunct instructor for the College of Financial Planning as well as Bernard Baruch College CUNY. He currently teaches the Certified Financial Planning program though Baruch. Tom has been a leader in the investment advisory and financial planning industry since 1987. He completed the Certified Financial Planning curriculum in 1993 and has been an adjunct instructor for the College Of Financial Planning and an instructor in Baruch's CFP program since 1998. He has also served as an industry arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc., Inc. since 1990. He regularly lectures at Baruch about topics and issues affecting the financial planning and investment industry. In addition, he has been contracted by numerous outside financial services firms, including Bank Of New York, to train and develop their private banking and investment staff. Tom's prior experience includes positions at Drexel Burnham, Dean Witter Reynolds, Paul Revere Insurance Company and Swartwood, Hesse Investment Bankers.

John Theobald is a Senior Associate of Quantitative Advisors and Director of Educational Training. John brings over 20 years of investment, insurance and teaching experience to Quantitative Advisors. Prior to joining Quantitative Advisors, John accumulated over 20 years experience in the insurance and re-insurance industry through his position of SVP at Guy Carpenter and as a Consultant with PXRE marketing weather derivatives. John has a MA and an Ed.M from Columbia University in New York. He held various teaching positions throughout the New York City educational system. In addition, John currently teaches the Investing 1 and 2, as well as the Equity Markets and Portfolio Theory course at Baruch College. John is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the American Society for Training and Development.
