it's weird reading annual reports where companies brag about "passing the costs on to consumers" when I'm on the consumer side too. $
Just have to figure out a way to save a lot more than you spend. Then, invest it in these companies and make them work for you!
Is the dividend rising (% income increasing) greater than the rise in cost (% expense increasing)? [Rhetorical]
It's also funny when they keep reiterating (over and over and over) in their annual reports how competitive their industry is!
I always think of it as...I am using their Div's to afford their over cost products
