    I think the offer way undervalues TRA. It will be a good deal for CF if it goes through, But TRA could easily be 50% higher once the spring planting season is under way. Dead of winter is a good time to buy a fertilizer company.

    Bob, that could very well be true. My experience is in heavy trucks where they all will be using SCR. I would guess that trucks use many times the diesel fuel that diesel powered autos do or ever will.

    Nitrogen products do not come from food products. They are manufactured from natural gas.

    I have owned a couple of good financial companies that were pulled down along with everything else in the sector. PEs dropped below 5. The same could happen with the ag stocks. Product pricing increases will level and even more investors will bail out. I think there is still room to fall to maybe 50% off the highs.
