Tim has been involved with the financial industry for over 30 years. He is a CMT (Chartered Market Technician) and member of the MTA (Market Technicians Association). In 1986-1988, he was a market maker (floor trader) at the Chicago Board of Options Exchange (CBOE), where he traded through the ’87 stock market crash. He has been involved in both private equity as well as public market and is well versed in commodities, stocks, futures, options and bonds.

Used to develop machines for the food industry & common-rail diesel engines. Now develops die-bonders for the semiconductor industry.
I have retired from one job that I held for many years and currently run my own business and would like to eventually merge with another company and then scale back on my work and manage my investment portfolio.
Historically I have chased high yield opportunities and have gotten burned. My plan is to re-position my investment portfolio in safe/reliable dividend paying stocks with a long record of increasing their dividends. In addition I do perform some moderate non-directional option selling and selling some naked puts on stocks I would like to own and selling covered calls.
