Charlie Munger Talk At Harvard-Westlake 2010
There are few people in the world as extraordinarily brilliant, yet practical as Charlie Munger, Warren Buffett's right hand man at Berkshire Hathaway (brk.b). In reading everything I can find on him I have significantly improved my own mental models, but there just aren't many Charlie Munger's out there. This is a gem of a speech regarding the causes and behaviors of the Financial Crisis. It is about 10 pages but I assure you that you won't regret having taken the time.

Meredith Whitney: No CEO Can Fix Citigroup
It seems like Meredith Whitney might be trying to relive her glory days of predicting a dividend cut by Citigroup (C), as now she is saying that no CEO can fix Citigroup. I honestly have no clue what she is talking about. Citicorp is posting 15% returns on tangible equity and Citi Holdings is only 9% of assets now. As usual Whitney's focus in on a headline as opposed to facts. Just once I'd like to see a detailed report that shows any semblance of ability at financial analysis. Below is my report on Citigroup written the day before Pandit's resignation.

CNBC Interview-Tim Travis CEO TTCM
Below is the link to the CNBC interview this evening. The hosts were in Singapore so there was a bit of a delay when I would answer, which looks a bit funny. Thanks!
