Samsung is motioning the court to force Apple to provide documents and transcripts from lawsuits regarding related technologies, such as VirnetX v. Apple. Samsung not only requests documents from the VirnetX lawsuit, they cite that these documents are relevant to Samsung's infringement and damage claims. Although this is not materially beneficial to VirnetX, it is significant that their lawsuit has surfaced in related intellectual property suits.

The agreement will extend through the expiration of the licensed patents with respect to certain current and future IP-encrypted products.

In addition, VirnetX and Siemens Enterprise Communications have agreed to dismiss the patent infringement case brought by VirnetX against Siemens before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

Apple (AAPL) has already been taken to court once, and motions indicate the second trial is on schedule. Moreover Cisco (CSCO) and Avaya are still up next in court in March; that is if no settlements come first. The deal with Siemens involves a one-time license payment and future royalties. So far Microsoft (MSFT), NEC, Astra and Mitel have all settled.

Siemens being the smaller player indicates that even the smallest companies have to settle when legitimate patents and technology are infringed upon. VirnetX closer higher on the day with above average volume.

Greg is very knowledgeable about the entire scope of the company, what is affecting them regarding manipulation, how the company is successfully implementing its litigation plan, it's patent portfolio and the development of the company.

One of the key parts, is Greg is well aware of the fine line between what he can and can't say; a perfect trait for someone in his position. Talking to Greg has compounded the fact that the VirnetX team is well aware of everything that is going on in relation to the company and they are executing their plan perfectly. It is way better to have a company that is focusing on execution of their plan than one that argues with headlines from fake authors that unintelligently attack the company for publicity.
