Tro Kalayjian

Dr. Tro Kalayjian is currently the incoming Chief Resident at Greenwich Hospital, in an Internal Medicine Residency Program. He has worked on several clinical research projects, including; a systemic review comparing treatment options for neuropathic pain, and a clinical trial that sought to establish a relationship between post-exercise ABI and a positive nuclear stress test. He has added interest in Sports Medicine. He has volunteered in the elite-athlete medical tent for the NYC marathon. He also founded a 3000 square foot wellness facility for TouroCOM in NYC. He has worked with various fitness centers to promote health and wellness plans including New York Sports Club and Dolce International, among others.

Tro is also a founding member of Chimera Research Group, an independent research firm focusing on catalysts in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, primarily on special situations. He was a contributing writer for Seeking Alpha from 2008 to 2011, and has been recognized as an Opinion Leader in the Healthcare Sector. In 2012, he was named one of the Top 50 voices in biotech by Fierce Markets. His past work experience also includes research services management for the Smilow Research Center at New York University Medical Center and for the Departments of Biology and Chemistry at New York University.

In 2001, Tro received a Certification of Merit from the New York State Assembly. In 2009, he received a Honorable Citation from the New York City - City Council.

Tro has added interests in Karate, Ju-Jitsu and participated in cross-country running through high-school and college.
