If you turn it off or set it to manual (which is my preference), then every time you open the particular account, it refreshes automatically. If there is a crying need, its a simple firmware change in the next software version that could be added. Not a big deal. Don't know whose review you read, but the OS is responsive from my point of view. I urge you to put a position in place, it may sway your research depth. Better yet, buy the phone and then write a review yourself rather than relying on others.
