Why Is the YouTube User Experience So Poor? [View article]
"Yet regularly, I have to wait 20-30 seconds for a clip to buffer" 20-30 seconds? Wow, that sucks. I never have to wait more than 5 seconds, usually just 2-3. That's pretty strange, but then again your post about YouTube problems generates the highest traffic.

Andy's statement about the deferred revenue being recognized in 09 is correct. Zaky says CURRENT deferred revenue. "Current" means less than a year.
The iPhone revenue is recognized over 24 months, yet the portion that will be recognized within the next year is recorded in "Current" and the other portion is recorded in non-current .

Should have gotten an AppleTV. It syncs with YouTube account. I love it. YouTube rocks, endless amounts of entertainment on there. I thought YouTube had been on TiVo forever, guess I was mistaken.
Is Yahoo Really Worth More Than Microsoft Offered? [View article]
Yahoo put it in the ditch, and I don't know is MSFT can get them out. They're pretty much in th ditch too, as far as I see it.
Yahoo owned the web. What real big improvements ar services, content etc, have they added recently, or past 5 years.
In the time Yahoo took to spiff up the finance page, Google has built an BA search engine, plus endless amounts of other great tools and services, creating new ones all the time. Being facetious, but can MSFT turn yahoo around??
I think it's the blind leading the blind. I think yahoo could be worth a 100, to they right firm that can fully capitalize the brand, but I don't think MSFT will be able to wring 40 dollars of value of them

I agree in part to the analysis. GOOG and AAPL are certainly not cheap, but they can trade at higher valuations due to their strong competitive position or "Moat" that will allow them to grow rapidly for many more years to come. financial-alchemist.bl.../
