I hail from the city of Como, northern Italy, well known for its beautiful lake. I began investing in 1999 as a speculator, with modest results. After reading many books on the matter, I now consider myself a value investor with a long term horizon. Besides investing I also enjoy playing chess online, contributing to Wikipedia and surfing the web always looking for something new to learn. My mother language is Italian, but I am fluent in English and improving my Russian and Spanish. If you like my articles please share them on your favorite network and don't forget to follow me !
I am a keen dividend growth investor with a new found passion in the stock market and buying income on sale. Although a fan of the lower risk DGI method, I am all in for financial freedom and attempting to retire by 30. I am therefore willing to take on more risk to get there and I am now investing into higher yield stocks predominantly MReits, BDCS and Reits. I firmly believe that this approach will get me there faster alongside investing in undervalued dividend growth stocks that will compound better in the long run. I am looking at a complete 50/50 split of DGI growth stocks for stability and 50% high yield alternatives.
I own a diversified portfolio of blue chip investment properties and stocks. I like to invest into companies that have a deep & wide moat - when selling at reasonable prices. My stock portfolio is concentrated with Berkshire Hathaway being the largest position.

I am retired German farmer, (born 1945) Last year, I sold part of the farm (buildings) moved to Hamburg and I am now seeking additional retirement income from share investments, which seemed to me "better" ,as the alternative woüld have been not to sell the buildings , but to let them out on lease.
