Why is $NILE buying back stock? To prop the stock? I love buybacks, but it's dilutive. Come on $AAPL, your turn.

    • Valuable Insights: Stock is at $32. Mgmt guided 2012 EPS of $0.75 - paying over 40x EPS. Do the math, EPS is higher w/o buyback assuming co can get 2%+ in bank

    • Valuable Insights: Check out p.12 of this link http://bit.ly/nSIpnk - NILE is co. C, yes they are reducing shares, they are also reducing EPS. To prop stock?

    • talbano: val- that's not what you said you said it's dilutive - not sure about your thesis but i could care less - I trade the paper

    • 1980XLS-2.0: To be bearish on the stock is one thing, But, buybacks are NOT dillutive. I am not a fan of buybacks, I would rather buy more if I like it

    • Valuable Insights: Albino, glad you trade the paper, hope it's working for you. Takes an asinine mgmt to buy back stock that reduces EPS (that better for you?)

    • talbano: NOt sure how reducing the share count reduces EPS but I rent so it really doesn't matter - I think AMZN should buy them personally
