I Work in accounting and finance and started off in public accounting. I am a Regional Director of Finance over 5 different countries in Latin America. I am a CPA and have completed all levels of the CFA (but not yet applied for the license despite this being 2-3 years ago). As well, I have done some side work doing financial analysis for a small M&A company (including comments for the pitch book) and have tutored finance and accounting for a few years. My hope is to some day have a business around tutoring for the CFA, but while I have the domain and the general idea, I dont have the technical knowledge from a website development standpoint to really start (and some other technical aspects).
I tend to ...More prefer dividend paying, strong cash-flow producing companies. As well, I typically will focus on companies that have the ability to survive, from a financial standpoint. I also have a preference for small and mid-cap stocks over the larger ones.
